Free Amazon PPC tools

Three calculators we use inside real accounts, rebuilt so you can run them yourself. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.

Built to order

Need a tool built for the way your account actually works?

The three calculators below are the general-purpose versions. Most accounts have something specific that no off-the-shelf tool handles — a bulk search term classifier for your own report format, a restock model that knows your lead times, a bid script tied to your margin bands.

We have an in-house development team alongside the marketplace side, so we build these properly rather than wiring together spreadsheets. Tell us what the problem is and we will say whether it is worth building, roughly how long it takes, and what it costs — before you commit to anything.

No cost to ask. We will tell you if it is not worth building.

Placement bid multiplier calculator

Top of Search usually converts better and costs more. This works out the placement adjustment that pulls that placement back to your target ACoS, instead of guessing at 50% and hoping.

How it works: ACoS moves roughly in proportion to bid, so the ratio of target ACoS to current ACoS gives the factor your effective bid should move by. That factor is applied to your current effective bid (base bid × current adjustment) and converted back into a placement percentage. Amazon caps placement adjustments at 900%.

Breakeven ACoS & max CPC calculator

The single number that decides whether advertising builds profit or quietly eats it. Work out where you stop making money, then what you can actually afford to pay per click.

How it works: Profit before ads is price minus COGS, referral fee and fulfilment. Breakeven ACoS is that profit as a percentage of price — spend more than this on ads and the sale loses money. Max CPC is breakeven ACoS × price × conversion rate, because you pay for every click but only a fraction convert.

PPC keyword decision tool

Scale it, trim the bid, or kill it. Put in a search term’s numbers and get a decision with the reasoning — including whether you even have enough clicks to judge it yet.

Used to judge whether a zero-order term has had a fair chance.

Cost per order—
Clicks for a fair test—

How it works: A term with no orders is only a loser once it has had a fair test — roughly twice the clicks implied by your conversion rate. Below that it is noise, not evidence. Above it, with no orders, the term is paying for traffic that does not buy. Where orders exist, the decision comes from ACoS against your target with a tolerance band, because trimming a bid is usually better than deleting the data.

On request

One optimiser instead of three calculators.

Running the three tools above means moving numbers between them by hand, one search term at a time. The combined version does all three passes across your whole account in one go, from a single export.

Placement optimisation

Every campaign’s placement adjustments recalculated against target ACoS, including the cases where the base bid is what needs to move.

Bid optimisation

Breakeven and target ACoS applied per ASIN, so each keyword gets a ceiling derived from its own margin rather than one account-wide guess.

Bleeder detection

Search terms spending with nothing to show, separated from terms that simply have not had a fair test yet — the distinction that decides whether cutting costs or saves money.

It is set up against your own account data rather than sold as a generic download, so it is offered on request rather than as a public tool.

Tell us the account size and we will send details.

Want this run across your whole account?

These three calculations applied across thousands of search terms is roughly what the first week of an audit looks like. We will do it on your account and write up what we find, free.
